Just when we thought we couldn't love the Metallic Silver Dip Hem Back Dress anymore, we spotted this little beauty in this month's InStyle magazine!

Each week the Lavish team collab to select our lust-have piece of the week, although we'd like to select EVERYTHING we whittle it down to one piece that we know every fashion lover is going to fall head over heels for- just like we have! This week we've selected the Pale Pink & Nude Suede Oversized Dress, we love it that much we don't even think it needs an explanation but we couldn't do that now could we?!

Now when it comes to those statement pieces, you have to admit Lavish know how to do it right! That's why when our design team came up with this fab faux-leather-meets suede dress, we knew our SS14 collection was going to be the best yet. For our look book we added a cross over french braid and a cute pair of white and cork wedge sandals, but that doesn't mean to say you couldn't wear this beauty in the colder months.

We put the challenge to our Senior Fashion Assistant Sophie, who handles the styling here at Lavish and she said; "Looks can be deceiving with this dress, although the pastel hues are spring based, the suede and leather combination makes it easily wearable for right now. I'd recommend a longline dark tone coat with a cool pair of biker boots, like our Black Lace Up Gold Buckle Heeled Boots to toughen this look up."

Forget the un-spring-like weather outside, start planning your new season pieces with best picks for SS14. Fashion law (somewhere) says that anything Alexander Wang, Burberry or Topshop Unique condone for the new season pretty much goes, so when this powdery palette hit the catwalk we knew we just had to have a piece of that!

Our Design Team have been working overtime to produce the most coveted items for the upcoming months. Whether your style's city chic or feminine kitsch, we've translated these pastel shades into something for everyone. Go all out and introduce the Powder Blue Contrast Collar A-Line Shirt Dress into your wardrobe, style up with a pair of ankle boots, our White & Black Block Heel Chelsea Boots would be the perfect combo. Or if you wanted something a bit more subtle, why not try the Pale Blue Sheer Panelled Oversized Tee? This must-have piece combines two of SS14's hottest trends. The sheer vs solid panelling would compliment the simplest pair of skinny jeans, or for the ultimate catwalk look team with the Mint & Blue Python Print PU A-Line Skirt!

We've sought the most on-trend looks straight from the SS14 catwalk to elegantly transform your winter wardrobe! Think pastel hues, metallic tones and quirky bold prints to brighten up these dreary months.

Taking style inspiration from our ultimate girl crush Cara Delevingne last season, our design team created the must-have Rose Gold Faux Leather Cropped Dress. Back by popular demand, the quirky shaped dress has been updated with this spring's hottest tone, metallic! This essential piece features a crop top style double layer, with split back detailing leading onto a fitted mini skirt with a super luxe exposed pewter back zip. Slip on a pair of barely there strapped sandals, a cream clutch and your outfit is complete!

Our Womenswear Designer Hayley says; "Metallic was so hot on the catwalk, we just had to update our fave Rose Gold Dress! I always find pewter is a more wearable metallic tone but it's still statement enough to become that show stopping piece for this spring!"

We're mega into Dena of Style Limelight's casual-chic wardrobe, especially when she styles up a storm in our Navy Tapered Leg Jumpsuit! Originally from Greece, Dena moved to the UK last year and her awesome blog came with her! Now hosted on Blog and The City, her style is vastly becoming recognised in the blogger buis.

Dena styles the Navy Tapered Leg Jumpsuit with a black faux fur jacket, oversized bag and a cool pair of white platform Stella McCartney-esque shoes. Adding in the monochrome accessories, Dena shows how easily this piece can be taken from day-to-night. Making it the perfect addition to your spring wardrobe!

Hubba Bubba nailed it from the beginning! Draped all over the autumn/winter catwalks by the likes of Carven, Topshop Unique and Moschino, Fuchsia pink's younger, more chic cousin Blush is here to stay. We saw the dominance of pink shades all over the blogosphere with key icons such as A Fashion Fix and Victoria Tornegren leading the way in cool PVC and longline tailored coats. But it seems you guys aren't over this new breed of shade yet!

To take the lust-have shade from winter straight through to spring, swap your high shine PVC for matte faux leather and your oversized coats for silky pyjono style jackets. Steal the Pale Pink & Nude Suede Oversized Dress for that easy take on this season's hottest shade! Style up with a cream roll neck jumper underneath and some ankle boots to wear now, then as the months get warmer add a cute pair of high-strapped Alexander Wang-esque sandals for that concrete catwalk look!

Not convinced? No sweat, although pink is the ultimate feminine colour swatch not all gals think they can pull it off. Not to fear, our Blush Rose Gold Clutch is here! Add this little bad boy to any outfit to stay up-to-date without loosing yourself in a trend.

Thought of it all haven't we!

Updated with our latest pieces, our New In edit is where you'll find the freshest new season products to wear right now! Think quirky prints on cami style dresses and button down shirts, fondant pastel shade jumpsuits or opt for for a nautical theme with our zig zag signature playsuit!

As you may have realised contrast detailing is a fave here down at LAHQ and we're not alone. As seen on Sam Faiers last autumn/winter, we've updated the must-have dress incase you missed out last time around! Featuring a relaxed A-line fit with pleat front detailing, full length sleeves with contrast collar and cuffs, all this super stylish dress needs is a slinky pair of barely there heels for a night out or a chunky pair of ankle boots for a more casual look.

Our Senior Fashion Assistant Sophie says; "For a chic take on spring/summer I'd definitely recommended this Navy & White Contrast Dress for a sophisticated Parisian look for 2014. This dress nails the layering look, style it up with a cute oversized colour pop coat and an oversized bag and your outfit's complete!"

The New Year brings the perfect excuse for a fabulous new wardrobe, a fresh face of makeup, tied with an on-trend hairdo. Lavish Alice has sought the most on trend looks straight from the SS14 catwalk, for a guide to elegantly transform your Christmas look through to a renewed 2014 sophisticated glamour.

Coat your eyes in soft pastel shadows with the likes of Prada’s pale blue, and Wendy Rowe for Burberry’s pretty in pink. Contrastingly, SS14 catwalks were scoured with a screaming, powerful orange lip adding that burst of spring. Rag & Bone cleverly contrasted the sweet, feminine, eye shades with the fierce pop of orange, which looks electrifying on every skin tone. Here at Lavish Alice, we have been completely seduced my MAC’s Morange shade and Smashbox’s pastel palette, which works a dream in creating the designer look.

This New Year screams elegance with old-world braids taking the lead, creating a romantic, whimsical look pinned around the crown as seen by Alberta Ferritti. Tom Ford compliments this trend with delicate, windswept updos whilst contrasted, mixed textures also take a drastic stand as seen by Marni. A change to your hair can immediately transform any look for an updated, chic feel, to complete any outfit.

Rock the completely on-trend oversized tee dresses in luscious nudes and metallics, finishing the look with statement, iridescent jewellery by Ciara Clark. This New Year guide will create a show-stopping, spring finish from head to toe; so here’s to a fabulously fashionable 2014!
